Experience Alaska's Majestic Bald Eagles

Join our exclusive 2025 Eagle Photo Tour, hosted by Ramsey Photo Tours in March (exact dates to be announced). This small-group tour, limited to just five participants, offers a unique opportunity to photograph Alaska's iconic bald eagles in their natural habitat, ensuring personalized attention and optimal conditions for capturing portfolio-quality images.

Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Homer, Alaska, this multi-day workshop is designed for both amateur and professional photographers seeking to enhance their wildlife photography skills and portfolios.  Under expert guidance, participants will have daily opportunities to photograph eagles in flight, at rest, and interacting with their environment.

The tour fee is $5,000 per person, with a required non-refundable, non-transferable deposit of $2,000. This investment grants you access to prime eagle habitats and professional instruction in a family-friendly atmosphere.

While the tour fee covers daily boat trips and photography instruction, participants are responsible for their travel to Homer (via Anchorage), accommodation at Land's End Resort, meals, personal expenses, and tips for the boat guides. Optional, renting a car to explore local photographic opportunities during downtime.

Safety is our priority, so all activities are weather-dependent. Each day of the tour typically begins with a 2–3-hour morning photography session aboard our specially equipped boat. Our starting time will depend on the weather and the tides.  After returning to shore, participants have free time mid-day for rest, image review, or exploration of Homer. We will conclude with an afternoon/evening shoot of another 2-3-hours to capture the golden light of the Alaskan sunset.  A more detailed itinerary will be sent out after registration is complete.

We understand that some photographers prefer a more customized experience. Private tours are available with sufficient notice at $5,000 per day, with a two-day minimum and a maximum of 4 clients. For those seeking a blend of creative and spiritual pursuits, this workshop's daily timetable is ideal for incorporating a private Christian retreat. The schedule allows for devotional time during the mid-day break. As an experienced lay teacher with 50 years in various ministries, I'm available to guide these spiritual sessions upon request.
